Margin: Smooth, black, 5-11 µm wide. Disk: Smooth. Exciple: Hyphae 1-3 µm wide, (2)-5-12 µm long, brown. Periphyses: Present. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed; cells 1-2.5 µm wide. Hypothecium: Brown.
Asci: Clavate or cylindrical (subcylindrical), not stipitate, 22-36 µm long, 8-13 µm wide; ocular chamber present; dehiscence bitunicate (fissitunicate); ascoplasm dextrinoid (endoascus BCr+ pale violet).
Ascospores: Not uniseriate, c. 8 per ascus, spores 8 per ascus, oblong-obtuse or oval, (11)-12-13.8-15-(16) µm long, 3-3.3-4 µm wide, obtuse; septa present, transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; lumina of equal size; wall thin, not constricted where the septum meets the spore wall, remaining hyaline, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution positive (epispore BCr+ pale violet), wall not ornamented.
Conidiomata: Present.
Conidia: Cylindrical; 2-2.5 µm long, .5-1 µm wide.
