Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s negative, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed; cells 1-2 µm wide. Hypothecium: Light brown, white, or pale brown.

Asci: Globose, clavate, or broadly cylindrical, not stipitate or distinctly stipitate, (33)-35-50-(52) µm long, (12)-16-19 µm wide; tholus not amyloid; ocular chamber present (distinct in young asci); narrow; dehiscence bitunicate (fissitunicate); exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid; ascoplasm dextrinoid.

Ascospores: Not uniseriate, c. 8 per ascus, spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid or oval, (10.5)-12-15-(17) µm long, (4)-4.5-5.5-(6) µm wide, obtuse; septa present, transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; lumina more or less of equal size; wall thin, becoming pigmented, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Present.

Conidia: Filiform; 3-4.5 µm long, .5-1 µm wide.
