Thallus: Branches terete, subterete, or compressed (strongly flattened). Upper Surface: Grey-green or white; epruinose.

Ascocarps: Forming directly at the thallus margin, directly at the tip of the thallus parts. Hymenium: Fully exposed from the beginning (gymnocarpous); upright, semi-upright, or down-turned.

Ascospores: 5.5-7.5 µm long, 5.5-7.5 µm wide; wall grey.

Conidia: Bacilliform; 4.5-7 µm long.

Secondary Metabolites: Sphaerophorin, stictic acid, constictic acid, cryptostictic acid, and norstictic acid.
