Thallus: Foliose, lobed; separate thallus parts 1 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: 20 cm in diameter; apex not distinctly broader than average; not curved. Thallus Outline: Margin darkened the thallus centre. Upper Surface: Grey, smooth; eciliate; without hairs; not isidate; soralia laminal, capitate, fully excavated, soredia farinose; not lobulate. Lower Surface: White, firmly attached attached; rhizines sparse, without projections.
Lower Cortex: Prosoplectenchymatous, of periclinal hyphae.
Ascocarps: Sparse, 1 mm in diam.. Margin: Smooth.
Ascospores: Physcia-type, 18-23.5 µm long, 7-9 µm wide.
Conidiomata: Sparse.
