Thallus: Foliose, lobed; separate thallus parts.5 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: 10 cm in diameter; apex not distinctly broader than average; not curved. Thallus Outline: Margin darkened the thallus centre. Upper Surface: Dark brown, smooth; eciliate; without hairs; not isidate; soralia laminal, capitate, fully excavated, soredia farinose; not lobulate. Lower Surface: Brown, firmly attached attached; rhizines sparse, without projections.

Lower Cortex: Paraplectenchymatous, of anticlinal hyphae.

Ascocarps: Moderately abundant, 1.5 mm in diam.. Margin: Smooth.

Ascospores: Physcia-type or Pachysporaria-type, (19)-20-24-(27) µm long, (7.5)-8-9-(10) µm wide.

Conidiomata: Sparse.
