Thallus: Foliose, lobed; separate thallus parts 1.5 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: 30 cm in diameter; apex not distinctly broader than average; curved upwards. Thallus Outline: Margin brighter than disk the thallus centre. Upper Surface: Grey, smooth; eciliate; without hairs; not isidate; soralia peripheral, labriform, soredia farinose; not lobulate. Lower Surface: White, firmly attached attached; rhizines sparse, without projections.

Lower Cortex: Prosoplectenchymatous, of periclinal hyphae.

Ascocarps: Sparse, 1.5 mm in diam.. Margin: Smooth.

Ascospores: Physcia-type, (17)-19-23-(25) µm long, (7.5)-8.5-10-(11) µm wide.

Conidiomata: Sparse.
