Lower Surface: Black, loosely attached attached; rhizines moderately abundant, with projections.
Lower Cortex: Paraplectenchymatous, of anticlinal hyphae.
Ascocarps: Sparse, 2 mm in diam.. Margin: Smooth.
Ascospores: Physcia-type, (21)-22-29-(32) µm long, (9)-10-12-(13) µm wide.
