Margin: Lecanorine or lecideine/biatorine, not flexuose or slightly flexuose (at maturity), persistent, prominent. Disk: Excavate to plane, black. Exciple: Not carbonized. Epithecium: Apical cells dark brownish red. Hymenium: Brown (dark purplish) or pink (rosé). Hypothecium: Dark brown.

Ascospores: 10-15 µm long, 5-8 µm wide.

Conidia: Filiform (shortly); 12-21-(24) µm long.
