Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Not emerging, becoming adnate to soon sessile, .6-.8 mm in diam.. Margin: Lecideine/biatorine, indistinct to prominent. Disk: Black. Exciple: Not carbonized; grey, brown, white, or brownish yellow. Epithecium: Apical cells olive. Hypothecium: White.

Ascospores: 9-12 µm long, 3-5.5 µm wide.
