Ascospores: 12 per ascus, 20-30 µm long, 6-8 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate or both transversally and longitudinally, 6-11-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, dark brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
