Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, becoming adnate to soon sessile. Margin: Indistinct; external filaments absent. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brown or brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, entirely amyloid throughout or with amyloid tube; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: 12-16 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid or globose, 4-8 µm long, 4-6 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Globose.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
