Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface or directly at the thallus margin, soon sessile. Margin: Distinct or prominent; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells olive. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched or distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed or distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with non-amyloid wide axial body and divergent amyloid flanks towards apex; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid or ellipsoid, 7-12 µm long, 6-9 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed or sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Bifusiform; not branched; aseptate; cell wall hyaline.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
