Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s negative, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Absent. Hypothecium: Red, pink (rosé), yellow, brownish yellow, or orange.

Asci: Tholus not thickened or thickened, not amyloid; dehiscence unitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: 1–2 to c. 8 per ascus, globose, ellipsoid, broadly ellipsoid, ovoid, oblong, cylindrical, fusiform, filiform, curved, or allantoid, 6.5-63 µm long, 2.5-11 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 1-7-transversally septate, formed by the proper spore wall; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, laterally constricted where the septum meets the spore wall, hyaline or pale brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented or ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
