Margin: Prominent; external filaments absent. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, oblong-obtuse, or oblong, 11.5-12 µm long, 3 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
