Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Perithecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, not emerging. Margin: Prominent; external filaments absent. Exciple: Black or brown. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Absent.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, fusiform, 9-13 µm long, 3-4 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 3-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, pale brown or dark brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
