Upper Surface: Brownish yellow to orange to white to yellow; special structures present:; not pseudocyphellate; eciliate; without hairs; isidiate; not sorediate; not cephalodiate; not lobulate; without granules granules, without thalloconidia thalloconidia. Lower Surface: Attached by the whole lower surface; special structures absent.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form to with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, soon sessile. Margin: Distinct. Exciple: White. Epithecium: Apical cells brown to brownish yellow to yellow. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, filiform to fusiform, 35-50-(65) µm long, 5.5-7.5 µm wide, obtuse to aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 3-5-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed to present; pycnidial.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Present, of the following substance class(es): orcinol depsides.
