Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, soon sessile. Margin: Distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: White or brownish yellow.

Asci: Dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: Oblong or oblong-obtuse, 50-72 µm long, 14-18 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; both transversally and longitudinally; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; campylidial; sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Globose.
