Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, directly at the tip of the thallus parts, not emerging, soon sessile. Margin: Prominent; external filaments absent. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Present?, scarcely branched or distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed.

Ascospores: c. 8, 12-16, 16-32, or more than 32 per ascus, globose, ellipsoid, broadly ellipsoid, or oblong, 4-20 µm long, 2-10 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; formed all accross the thallus surface or along the thallus periphery.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
