Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, soon sessile to substipitate. Margin: Indistinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White or brownish yellow. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: White or brownish yellow.
Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with amyloid tube; dehiscence lecanoralean.
Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid or broadly ellipsoid, 17-35 µm long, 8-17 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thick, distinctly differentiated into primary and secondary wall, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
Conidiomata: Present or absent resp. not observed; pycnidial; immersed or stipitate, formed all accross the thallus surface.
Conidia: Bacilliform.
