Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid; dehiscence lecanoralean; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, filiform or fusiform, 10-45-(55) µm long, 1.5-4.5 µm wide, aciculate; septa absent or present; transversally septate, 0-1-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; formed all accross the thallus surface.
