Hypothecium: Black or brown.

Asci: Dehiscence verrucarial; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 13-21 µm long, 6-10 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
