Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with amyloid cap (like a collar); ocular chamber indistinct; dehiscence lecanoralean; exoascus euamyloid, not hemiamyloid.
Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, reniform, curved, or semilunate, 7-17 µm long, 2-6 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed, formed all accross the thallus surface.
Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical or intercalar. Conidia: Globose or ellipsoid; microconidial, not branched; aseptate; cell wall hyaline.
