Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid; dehiscence unitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, fusiform, 14-17.5 µm long, 2.5-3 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
