Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, distinctly anastomosed.
Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid.
Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, filiform, 160-200 µm long, 1-3 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 25-100-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
Conidiomata: Present or absent resp. not observed; pycnidial; formed all accross the thallus surface.
Conidia: Globose.
