Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Irregular, soon sessile, stromatic. Margin: Indistinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: Brown. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s negative, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Absent. Hypothecium: Brown.

Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid; dehiscence bitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, filiform, 20-27 µm long, 3-4 µm wide, aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 1-1-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; sessile.

Conidia: Globose.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
