Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Irregular, forming all across the thallus surface, stromatic. Margin: Indistinct. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed.

Asci: Dehiscence bitunicate.

Ascospores: 1–2 or c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, cylindrical, oblong-obtuse, ovoid, or oblong, 36-160 µm long, 11-63 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; both transversally and longitudinally, 10-14-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed to sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected or present, of the following substance class(es): orcinol depsides, ß-orcinol depsides, and ß-orcinol depsidones.
