Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, stipitate. Margin: Indistinct; external filaments absent. Hymenium: Mazaedioid. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched. Hypothecium: Brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus not thickened; dehiscence prototunicate.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, globose, 2.5-4.5 µm long, 2.5-4.5 µm wide; septa absent; wall not thickened at the septum, pale brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Globose.

Secondary Metabolites: Present, of the following substance class(es): pulvinic acid derivatives.
