Thallus: Indistinct or crustose, not subdivided parts, subfruticose. Upper Surface: White, olive, or brownish yellow; special structures absent. Lower Surface: Attached by holdfasts; special structures absent.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming directly at the thallus margin, soon sessile or stipitate. Margin: Distinct to prominent; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells black or green. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brown.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with non-amyloid narrow axial body and amyloid convergent flanks towards apex; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, fusiform, 45-80-(100) µm long, 1.5-2-(3) µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 5-8-(10)-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
