Ascospores: 12 to c. 8 per ascus, fusiform or oblong, 44-110 µm long, 10-27 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; both transversally and longitudinally, formed by the proper spore wall; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
