Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with amyloid tube or with amyloid cap; dehiscence lecanoralean.
Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid or broadly ellipsoid, 9-16 µm long, 5-10 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
