Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, soon sessile. Margin: Indistinct to distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White or brownish yellow. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline or brownish yellow. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched to distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: White or brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with amyloid cap or entirely amyloid throughout; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: More than 32 per ascus, ellipsoid, 3-13 µm long, 2-3.5 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
