Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, soon sessile. Margin: Distinct to prominent; external filaments absent. Exciple: Brown or white to brownish yellow to violet. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline to brownish yellow to olive. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brown to white to brownish yellow.
Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with non-amyloid wide axial body and divergent amyloid flanks towards apex; dehiscence lecanoralean; exoascus euamyloid.
Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, cylindrical to filiform to fusiform, 20-47 µm long, 1.5-3 µm wide, aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 1-8-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed to present; pycnidial to campylidial; immersed to sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.
Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Filiform.
Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
