Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, becoming adnate to soon sessile. Margin: Indistinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White or brownish yellow. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, entirely amyloid throughout or with amyloid tube; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 25-38 µm long, 13-18 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa absent; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
