Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid (fusca brunnea), orbicular (globosa vel subglobosa), scattered or gregarious, .06-.08-(.095) mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (inferiore parte cleistothecii exortae, curvatae, crassitudo inaequabilis); mycelioid, straight, 40-200-(266) µm long, 3-8-(10) µm in diameter, pigmented (brunneae, raro basi brunneae, subbrunneae in apice), few, 4-14 per mm², smooth or verrucose (prope basim), thin, not ramified or rarely ramified, irregular, aseptate or septate (0-5-septatae).

Asci: 1 asci per ascocarp, globose (subglobosi, late ovales), not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 46-64 µm long, 38-54 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, spores 8 per ascus, subglobose, ellipsoid, or ovoid, 13-19 µm long, 10-13 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Euoidium-type. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells in chains. Conidia: Doliiform or cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 18-26 µm long, 12-16 µm wide; aseptate.
