Margin: External filaments present; interlaced with each other or interwoven with surrounding mycelium, mycelioid, (3)-3.5-6-(8) µm in diameter, hyaline or pigmented (yellowish below), few (mostly) or numerous, growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp, smooth or rough, thin, not ramified, septate.

Asci: 1 asci per ascocarp, 70-95 µm long, 55-70 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, spores (6)-8 per ascus, oval, 18-25 µm long, 12-18 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiophores: Not branched or branched; conidiophore cells (0)-0-0-0-(0) µm long.
