Braun U., Beih. Nova Hedwigia 89: 1-700 [617] (1987).

Biogeography: Continent: Asia-Temperate. Country or state(s): Taiwan.

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, amphigenous (white, effuse, confluent). Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Urena lobata L.; Urena, Malvaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched (erect, 3-4-septate, 106-246 x 12-18 µm); basal cells 60-200 µm long, 7.2-8.4 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ovoid or doliiform; macroconidial (germ tubes at an end of the spore, short to long, simple, terminating in a lobed appressorium or without appressorium), not branched, 30-44.4 µm long, 18-22.8 µm wide; aseptate.
