Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, amphigenous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Rosa indica L.; Rosa, Rosaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched (arising from a side of the hyphae); basal cells 28-35 µm long, 9 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single or in chains (occasionally 2 conidia). Conidia: Ellipsoid; macroconidial (with vacuoles and minute granules), not branched, 28-36.17-44 µm long, 16-19.45-23 µm wide; aseptate.
