Biogeography: Continent: Africa (Tanganyika) and Asia-Temperate. Country or state(s): Taiwan.

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves (effuse, irregular patches), hypophyllous or amphigenous (rarely). Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Cassia siamea Lam.; Cassia, Leguminosae-Papilionoideae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched (erect, cylindric, 2-3-septate, 63.6-103 x 8.4-12 µm); basal cells 24-60 µm long, 6-8.4 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ellipsoid, ovoid, or doliiform; macroconidial (germ tubes at an end, long, simple, without lobed appressorium), not branched, 24-40 µm long, 12-18 µm wide; aseptate.
