Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, amphigenous (white, effuse, confluent). Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Cassia hirsuta L.; Cassia, Leguminosae-Papilionoideae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched (erect, 3-7-septate, 85-229 x 14.4-20 µm); basal cells 50.4-69 µm long, 13.2-15.6 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells in chains. Conidia: Ovoid or cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 33.6-56.4 µm long, 16.8-27.6 µm wide; aseptate.
