Biogeography: Continent: Southern America (Argentina, Prov. Rio Negro).

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, amphigenous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Baccharis racemosa (Ruiz & Pavon) DC.; Baccharis, Compositae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Euoidium-type (foot-cells cylindrical to barrel-shaped, increasing in diameter from base to top, with characteristically curved septum in the upper end, followed by two to four shorter or equally long cells); not branched; basal cells 22.5-44 µm long, 8-16 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells in chains. Conidia: Ellipsoid or doliiform; macroconidial, not branched, 24-32 µm long, 12-16 µm wide; aseptate.
