Margin: External filaments present; recurved, (1)-1.5-3 µm long, 6-11 µm in diameter, hyaline or faintly pigmented (at the very base), numerous, 6-22 per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, flexuose, smooth or rough, thin or moderatly thick (towards the base), ramified, dichotomously branched (4-5 times, branchings regular, tips distinctly recurved, primary branches sometimes somewhat elongated, stalk occasionally forked in the lower half), aseptate or septate (0-1-septate).

Asci: 3-8 asci per ascocarp, indistinctly stipitate, 40-55 µm long, 25-45 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 or c. 8 per ascus, spores 3-6 per ascus, subglobose, ellipsoid, or ovoid, 16-22 µm long, 10-14 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ellipsoid or doliiform; macroconidial, not branched, 25-35 µm long, 14-16 µm wide; aseptate.
