Margin: External filaments present (142-270 µm long); 142-270 µm long, 6 µm in diameter, hyaline, very numerous, 53-107 per mm², growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp or between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, ramified, dichotomously branched (3-4(-5) times, branchings loose, deep, diffuse, Microsphaera diffusa-like), septate.
Asci: 8-12 asci per ascocarp, 46-57 µm long, 19-30 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.
Ascospores: 12, c. 4, or c. 8 per ascus, spores 2-4-(8) per ascus; septa absent.
