Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, amphigenous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Robinia pseudacacia L.; Robinia, Leguminosae-Papilionoideae.

Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, gregarious, .085-.145 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present; straight, 1-3 µm long, (3)-4-10-(12) µm in diameter, hyaline or somewhat pigmented (at the base), numerous, (6)-10-20-(25) per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp (or somewhat subequatorially), flexuose or strongly geniculate (bent) (to undulate, very irregular), smooth or faintly rough (rarely), thin (throughout or thick-walled towards the base) or thick, not ramified or ramified, not branched (1-5 times loosely, branchings lax, diffuse, rather irregular, tips not recurved), aseptate or septate (0-2 septate).

Asci: 6-13 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate (subsessile) or indistinctly stipitate, 50-70 µm long, (25)-30-45 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 or c. 8 per ascus, spores (4)-5-6-(7) per ascus, subglobose, ellipsoid, or ovoid, 14-20 µm long, 10-15 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.
