Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular (globosa vel spheroidea), scattered or gregarious, .1-.15 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present; straight, 50-500 µm long, (2)-3-6-(10) µm in diameter, numerous, 14-26 per mm², growing at the ascocarp base, stiff and straight (rectae vel leviter curvatae), thin or moderatly thick (prope basim leviter incrassatae), not ramified or ramified, septate (1-7-septatae).

Asci: 10-18 asci per ascocarp, globose (ellipsoidei), indistinctly stipitate, 47-60 µm long, 32-40 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 to c. 8 per ascus, spores 3-5 per ascus, subglobose or ovoid, 12.5-22.5 µm long, 9-14 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.
