Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, .075-.09 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (90-110 µm long); straight, 90-110 µm long, few, 7-9 per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, ramified, dichotomously branched (4-5 times, regularly branched, tips of the ultimate branchlets not recurved, branchings rather), aseptate.

Asci: 3-5 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 45-50 µm long, 25-28 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, spores 6-8 per ascus, 12-14 µm long, 6-7 µm wide; septa absent.
