Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered, .065-.1-(.11) mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (length variable on the same fruit body; length (20-)60-458(-655) µm, width nearly subequal throughout, slightly narrower upwards); mycelioid, straight, 1-4-(6) µm long, (2.5)-3.5-6-(7.1) µm in diameter, pigmented (brown ín the lower part, paler above), numerous, (5)-11-25 per mm², flexuose (-undulate), smooth or faintly rough, thin, not ramified, aseptate or septate (0-8 septa).

Asci: 3-5-(7) asci per ascocarp, not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 33-55 µm long, 29-40 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: 1–2, c. 4, or c. 8 per ascus, spores 2-7 per ascus, subglobose, ellipsoid, or ovoid, 14-20 µm long, 9-13.5 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Sub-cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 26.4-35.1 µm long, 13.2-16.5 µm wide; aseptate.
