Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, epiphyllous (mostly) or amphigenous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Cedrela sinensis Juss.; Cedrela, Meliaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or in loose groups, .095-.165 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (apex somewhat enlarged or width subequal; frequently nodulose or subnodulose); circinate (closely) or sub-helicoid, (.5)-1-1.5-(2.5) µm long, 6-9-(12) µm in diameter, hyaline or faintly pigmented (sometimes at the base), few or numerous, 6-18 per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, flexuose (straight to curved) or stiff and straight, smooth, thin or moderatly thick (towards the base), septate (1(-2)-septate, rarely aseptate).

Asci: 4-14 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 30-75 µm long, 20-45 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 or c. 8 per ascus, spores (4)-6-8 per ascus, ellipsoid or ovoid, 15-24 µm long, 10-14 µm wide; septa absent.
