Biogeography: Continent: Asia-Temperate. Region(s): China (only known from the type collection).

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, epiphyllous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Alchornea davidi Franch.; Alchornea, Euphorbiaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, .09-.14 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present; uncinate, circinate, or sub-helicoid, .6-1.5 µm long, 5-7.5 µm in diameter, numerous, (29)-42-78-(103) per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, not ramified, septate.

Asci: 5-9-(11) asci per ascocarp, distinctly stipitate, 53.3-76.2 µm long, 35.6-50.8 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 or c. 8 per ascus, spores 4-6-(7) per ascus, ellipsoid, 20.3-29.1 µm long, 10.2-15.2 µm wide; septa absent.
