Ascospores: Not uniseriate (biseriate), c. 8 per ascus, spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid or clavate, (15)-19-22-(26) µm long, (6)-7-9-(10) µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; lumina apically enlarged, constricted at the centre; wall becoming pigmented, dark brown (olivaceous brown), ornamented (verruculose).
