Thallus: Crustose, squamulose; branches clustered, densely aggregated, or caespitose. Primary Thallus: Evanescent. Secondary Thallus: Present, of indeterminate growth; stipe 15-120 mm high, 1-3.5 mm wide, lime green, homogeneously coloured, corticate, with intact wall. Upper Surface: Verruculose or areolated, smooth.
Ascocarps: Forming apical at the tip of branches or stipes, sparse, 1-3.5 mm in diam.. Disk: Strongly convex; brown.
Conidiomata: Formed on podetia or on margins of scyphi.
Secondary Metabolites: Barbatic acid and usnic acid, of the following substance class(es): ß-orcinol depsides.
